This statue can be identified as Dondo.The artistic expression of this group has known a strong influence from de Bembe People,their North West neighbours.The oval head on a cylindrical neck,the small eyes,the mouth,the motifs of the scarifications on the front and along the body are all iconographique elements typical for the staues of this region.

Cette statue peut être identifiée comme Dondo. L'expression artistique de ce groupe a connu une forte influence des Bembe, leurs voisins du Nord-Ouest. La tête ovale sur un cou cylindrique, les petits yeux, la bouche, les motifs des scarifications sur le devant et le long du corps sont tous des éléments iconographiques typiques des statues de cette région.
