Her legs crossed, the mother sits on a little stool and holds the child on her knees, staring in the distance. She’s wearing a knitted headdress and bracelets, attributes of a Chief’s wife. The open mouth shows her filed pointed teeth—a typical cord. The object shows signs of age and has a wonderful Patina. The left ear has been restored before the previous owner inherited the piece.
