The Karajá people live in the state of Goiás. The center of their territory is the island of Bananal, on the Araguaya River.
On a cap-shaped elastic plant weave, a multitude of red and blue feathers are attached. The upper part is adorned with larger feathers of the same species The feathers are protected inside the braided frame.Provenance
