Sitting on the cold stone with his hands crossed in his lap, the moment after the calvary and immediately before the crucifixion. Soft and tender face, the eyes downcast; his whole attitude and expression fully accept what will happen next—minor losses and traces of xylophage. No restorations and beautiful patina.
