Statue à reliquaire Téké République du Congo. Bois dur, résine, cauris, métal. Ancienne patine d’usage.

Hard wood, resin, cowries, metal. Old patina from use. A nude standing man with hands placed on the abdomen, hidden by the abdominal reliquary. Two resin medicinal charges are attached to the head, and a fine beard of hair decorates the chin. The eyes are represented by cowries. A small circumcision knife and a shell are tied around the neck with a leather cord. A third charge is on the abdomen. The feet are missing.
