Huge Freshwater Stingray Skeleton in Artisanal Custom Made Glass Display Case
The Ocellate River Stingray is a freshwater Ray inhabiting Southern South America, and is an abundant endemic Ray of the Parano-Plata Bassin. They are found in calm water and are most commonly caught when water levels are low. Because of the detailed work involved,Stingray skeletons of this size are extremely rare. This particular big animal took about 12 months to complete (preparation and custom-made display case included). This museum quality mount being very fragile, special arrangements will have to be put in place to secure transport.The case is transparent; the black background consist of a paper sheet we held against the case for contrast. Any color as background is possible.
